What's New for Windstar Cruises?

As part of Windstar's $250M Star Plus initiative, Windstar is bring a whole new meaning to "refurbishment." Their 3 Star-class ships (Star Breeze, Star Legend, and Star Pride) will be completely transformed to provide you more of what you love about cruising with Windstar. Additions will include 50 new suites and redone bathrooms in all suites, more alternative restaurants, improved tenders, and 4 new engines per ship for better fuel efficiency.

Launched in 2014 was Star Pride, the first of the three power yachts that doubled the size of the Windstar fleet (bringing the total to six ships). The other two ships, Star Breeze and Star Legend, joined in 2015. All three ships received extensive refurbishments in dry-dock prior to launch.

At the end of 2012, an extensive refurbishment was done to the entire Windstar fleet (of their three sailing yachts). All interiors have been updated and redesigned to bring a warm contemporary style to the luxurious sailing vessels. In addition the dining features of each ship have been improved. New dining venues onboard include Stella Bistro, Guests on a Windstar cruise featuring fresh French culinary dishes which features many duck dishes and a wine experience second to none. The wine list on each ship has been expanded to feature European wines by the glass as well as other regional specialties.

In an effort to provide their guests with the best spa products and treatments at sea, Windstar Cruises is now featuring The OnboardSpa Company and their certified organic O SPA London products and services on all of their ships. O SPA London is a completely certified organic spa experience that takes their guests on an exotic, multi-sensorial journey of rejuvenation and relaxation.
